The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with a deep understanding of cycling and a proven track record of designing exceptional products. As a key member of the design team, the Senior Industrial Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the future of cycling by developing innovative and inspiring products that resonate with riders of all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including industrial designers, engineers, product managers, and owners, to develop compelling design solutions for various cycling products.
• Contribute to the evolution of the product design language across the bike line, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
• Edit and refine products throughout the creation, development, and production process to achieve brand objectives.
• Create and maintain clear design documentation, including sketches, renderings, and prototypes.
• Develop handmade, computer-generated, or other prototypes to visually communicate design inspiration, concept, and intent.
• Demonstrate a strong collaborative approach, welcoming feedback and actively contributing to team discussions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product development or industrial design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality design work, preferably with examples of cycling-related products.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Company core competencies, including curiosity, humility, team focus, passion, collaboration, and ownership.
• Industrial Design model shop skills, including the ability to quickly mock-up concepts through prototypes, hand sketches, and high-quality finished appearance models.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D rendering software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Keyshot) to create photorealistic imagery.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and advanced surface modeling software (e.g., PTC Creo, ISDX).
• Exceptional visual communication skills and the ability to articulate design perspectives clearly.
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines while managing multiple projects.
